A year ago today, thanks to your skill and generosity my life changed exponentially for the better! Tom and I will never forget meeting you wrapped from head to toe in your “scrubs” ready to work, what to us became a miracle, just outside the operating theatre at St. Joe’s Wayne Hospital.

It’s been a long unusual summer, but I am overdue on sending you this most appreciative note of gratitude. So many times throughout this ordeal I thought of you and “thanks God!” for your help on steering us in the right direction, and so quickly at that! You were instrumental in taking a dire situation and making the best of it under all circumstances. Obviously now I can look back and simply feel blessed for the outstanding care and support of so many, doctors, nurses, friends, family, physical therapists, but I could never thank you enough for being there for Charlie and myself.
I actually made it!!! Vacationing on the historic, Floreana Island (Galápagos Islands). Thanks again for all your help in my recovery.
